Aunt Della was a wonderful and loving aunt and I have many fond memories of her, especially as a child and our families meeting in the summer at Grandma and Grandpa’s place, where she made the best birthday cakes any kid could ever wish for!! Also so talented and made many beautiful knitted doll and kid clothes that I will always treasure. She was a very special person who never lost her wisdom, her wonderful laugh and cheery spirit and will be greatly missed.

I am so glad that I had the opportunity to fly back and spend a week with Aunt Della for her 90th birthday. It gave me the opportunity to get to know some of my cousins better, to go through old recipes that were both Aunt Della’s and Grandma Wiltse’s, in addition to going through pictures. It was great fun!
